What data we process and why

  • Contact form: your name, email address and message, used only to reply to your request (legal basis: steps taken at your request, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The message reaches our mailbox and is kept only as long as needed to handle your request, and in any case for no more than 24 months.
  • Anonymous visit statistics: to understand how many people visit the site and where they come from, we record only aggregated, non-identifying data — page viewed, date, language, device type (phone or computer) and referring website (e.g. Google or TripAdvisor). We use no cookies, we do not record IP addresses and you cannot be identified. This data is kept for 13 months.
  • Technical browsing data: like any website, the hosting provider's server logs some technical request data (such as the IP address) for security purposes, kept for a short time under the provider's rules (legitimate interest in keeping the site secure, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Who we share data with

We never sell or share your data. It is processed on our behalf only by the providers needed to run the site: Hostinger (website hosting, servers in the European Union) and Google (the email service through which we receive contact form messages). Google may process data outside the EU, with the safeguards required by the GDPR (EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses).

The map on the home page loads only if you click “Show the map”. At that point Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's privacy policy. More details in our cookie policy.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, or for data portability (Arts. 15–22 GDPR), by writing to us through the contact form or by post. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it) or the authority in your country.
